We are all covered by my business liability insurance and have been cleared by the Data Barring Service (i.e Police Checked). Catherine has a friendly, happy personality and is very professional in her work, paying attention to detail whether walking, feeding or administering medicines. I believe her to be totally trustworthy, loyal and competent and would highly recommend her to anyone. Put simply, Catherine is less a dog-walker and more an extension of the family who we trust implicitly within our home. Because of her trademark reliability and flexibility we are able to balance our professional commitments, whilst knowing that our pet is happy, fighting fit, and well cared for. Unfortunately, I would have to second the other reviewer on here in terms of professionalism. I have a wedding in 8 weeks in Cockermouth and called Catherine Pyatt to ask if she had any availability. I was told that I had left it far too late and would normally need to book a year in advance. This comment was without any advice as to whether she had availability, more a telling off for leaving things so late! Very few people know their plans a year in advance and I'm pleased to say, having called the next two recommendations on the list, they both have availability!

I can only describe this person as out right rude! Stating that ‘your chaos is not my forte’ because I had not responded for 3 days over Christmas (literally 24th, 25th and 26th, December).

I used to worry about imposing on neighbours to look after our pets when we were away, but not anymore. Catherine has been looking after our wide variety of animals for several years now and I can thoroughly recommend her care. She is flexible, thoughtful and reliable. We have guinea pigs, a hamster, budgies and a crested gecko and she is so caring and thoughtful with them all. We even receive photos of them while we are away and at her suggestion, we left out treats for her to give them on Christmas Day! Nothing is too much trouble and she’s more than happy to feed wild birds and water the greenhouse too. I had to leave one of the budgies while on an antibiotic and had no need to worry as Catherine was so caring and gave me daily updates sharing any concerns. Thank you Catherine for all your help!

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Catherine for boarding and walking. Our high-maintenance and very energetic terrier loves staying with her - he even stops at her door when we're walking past the house and asks to go in, then looks disappointed when we can't. She is totally professional, very careful and your pet really becomes part of the family - even if, like our pup, they like a bit of mischief... "It's a good job he's so cute" was one comment from Cat's daughter as the terrier snuggled in to her for yet another cuddle!

Catherine looks after my son's cat whenever he is away for work or holiday - she is absolutely reliable and Koshka loves her - unless it's the monthly flea treatment which she also administers - then he is less keen! I have no hesitation recommending Catherine for any pet care services.
