Cath's Garden Plants

We are a traditional family run nursery growing plants in a wonderful environment in South Lakeland, within the walls of an old walled garden (we do not have planted up borders.) We love to grow our plants propagating many of the ourselves. All plants are grown as naturally as possible to make sure that they grow well when planted in your garden. All our staff are very happy to advise whether you are are new to gardening or more experienced.

Visited last weekend for the first time. We travelled from Wirral and it was well worth the journey. It was the kind of plant nursery that we have been hoping to find for a long time. We will definitely be returning. A glorious choice of plants.

The second time I have purchased shrubs from Cath’s Garden Plants. On both occasions the staff have been really friendly and helpful, offering advice on the best shrubs to plant. The quality of the shrubs is very good and the number of different varieties they have is vast. A traditional nursery in a beautiful setting.

Bob and team grow most of what they sell in there own nursery or from other UK growers Bob has a wealth of knowledge always a good selection available Nothing is imported thats been forced grown in heated environments been buying from Caths Garden Plants for 10 years and not lost a plant to date

Absolutely a little gem of a place lots of quirky plants very well organised knowledgeable staff not full of stuff you dont want like the more modern garden centres exactly whst it says is what it is ...brilliant 😊
