Off the back of the watercress festival dropped in here for refreshments. Had coffee and sandwich and cake all very good, and would eat again. Bit the brownie was on another level. The other chocolate cake was also very nice. Went to buy some to take home, but they had sold out. Yes that good

Caracoli is, without a doubt, the best coffee shop in Alresford. Andrew and his team are absolutely fantastic - they make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Not to mention the food is fantastic (insider tip - try the focaccia). Thanks guys!

When in Alresford I have often bought coffee from Caracoli but I have now decided to avoid following poor service over several recent visits. The staff seem more interested in being sarcastic to customers and their own conversations than delivering friendly customer service. I have now been on the receiving end of sarcastic comments from staff on a number of occasions, most recently from a waitress who clearly resented wiping down my table following me having to clear the table from the previous customers . Recently I was waiting to pay next to a customer who was sitting in the café and asked for china cups rather than the takeaway cups he was offered. He was told that wasn’t possible as the dishwasher had already been loaded! When the customer said he would go somewhere else and left, the man serving turned to me and said “That’s fine, I don’t care”, and I thought – that sums this place up.

Fantastic cafe, with really delicious, freshly cooked food. So much to choose from. Tasty carrot & coriander soup, brocoli, Stilton and walnut quiche, croissants, flapjacks and patisserie. Great staff and attention to service, lead by an engaging and welcoming manager. Really good coffee. We even bought some local watercress, a must, given the location. Very Dog friendly. We visited on several occasions on our short break staying locally. Thank you.
