Neil Potts4 StarA great place to stay in Canterbury. The host, Lisa, gives a great welcome. The room we stayed in had a four-poster bed and was very comfortable. The room itself was spacious with lots of tea and coffee. A great shower room with twin sinks. Watch out for the breakfast, they could feed an army on what I had. I had to ask for less on the second morning.
It is a short walk into town with plenty of choice of eateries. Sight seeing is good for the Cathedral and the city walls, although the castle is closed for health and safety reasons.
All in all the Canterbury Lodge is a place I would definitely return to.Saturday 16th July 2022
Ron Davies4 StarLisa was a great host. The continental breakfast was plentiful. Our room No. 5 at the rear overlooked the garden and we were advised, was a quieter room. It was spacious with traditional decor and four poster bed. I found the bed and pillows very firm, but acknowledge that is how some people prefer things. This room has a very modern and spacious shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided.
The hotel is 10-15 mins walk into the centre of Canterbury. At the time of our visit (9-11 March) there was ample space in the car park. All in all, a pleasant stay.Saturday 12th March 2022

Room was a touch dusty but it was really comfortable and well decorated furnishings and mirrors everywhere!

You can walk to all the attractions in the center of Canterbury which was really helpful since parking is difficult in that area. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. She even left a box of chocolates in our rooms- so sweet! We were very happy that we selected this place. Highly recommend!Tuesday 25th June 2019
