We had a great four night stay in a oyster bay villa. It was tidy, the entertainment was fantastic. Plenty to do all day for children. And shows for children and adults at night. Plenty of places to eat but would recommend eating at lunch for the shows at night. All the staff were friendly. For £133 pounds for four nights I think this is good value for your money for all the things that are free like children's rides, all the entertainment. I would highly recommend this place for a holiday

Absolutely loved it here. The staff were all lovely and friendly, the shows were amazing- masked singer, animals vs dinosaurs and electric city. Swimming was brilliant also. First time here and won't be the last we all had a brilliant time

Sadly this year was the worst I can remember. They appear to be running it down. I have been going for many years. The evening entertainment on three days was their own troupe of four singers shouting out popular songs with their dancers performing frantic repetitive routines. The other day was a lady competently covering Whitney Houston. The pantomime was an exact copy of last year's 'The Three Bears'. A real disappointment. The fun fair had reduced hours 10-4 and then only half the rides were open. There are only 7 anyway. Other activities would stop early without warning. Apparently there was a film but the Butlins app couldn't tell you what was showing. It is very difficult to take your child to see an unknown film, risking huge disappointment. The queues for the swimming pool were the biggest thing there. Triggering more disappointment. Why charge people to use the cash machine in the resort? This is no longer an inclusive holiday, be prepared to have to pay for activities.

Great for younger families on a budget, especially if you stick to the food plan. We went self catering in one of the detached cabins which was lovely (top tip don't get one at the entrance of the street as those are next to the bin emptying site, which can be a bit loud in the early morning when they are getting changed over). Lot's to do and see for the little ones and the local beach is just over the road.

Stayed for 4 nights over half term. Minehead wind was chilling but blue sky. Entertainment was same as last year sadly but kids love it. We were food inclusive and after a scrum the first night got our table for 6. Pools great but queues for slides very slow could be better.
