Been 3 times now and just gets better each time, can't wait for next year to see what amazing things you've done with the placeponds and peace we’d recommend Burton Springs to anyone wanting to swap the rat race for fishing

We have just spent a lovely three days on this beautiful site. It sits in idyllic countryside, half way up the coast to castles walk so perfect for dog walking. Our host, Gareth, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. So much so that when our pump packed up, he sent us off to buy a new one and then fitted it for us, refusing to allow us to pay him! The washblock is pristine, and re a previous review mentioning the gravel, there is now synthetic grass in front. Perfect. It is so peaceful. We could only hear birdsong and if fishing is your bag, the lakes are beautifully maintained.

We stayed on Burton springs, wooden pod lake view. What a great site, pods where clean and cosy, staff where friendly and helpful with everything. Showers and toilets were fresh and clean and all working great. Massive bonus when on a campsite. The fishing was great as well, we all fished the alder pool all day with great results. Plenty of fish carp, tench and bream with our biggest carp weighing in at 7lb. Would definitely recommend for camping, glamping and fishing. Here’s my little man with a wonderful mirror carp.
