We had my sons 5th party here on 21st May after being recommended here by someone on Facebook. A nice selection of food as served on platters which worked really well. Liz was the perfect host, very friendly, very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The children all had a lovely time. 🙂

Friendly staff, with food service very good but bar service a bit slow, (it was quite busy though). Menu options are very good and we all really enjoyed everything we ordered. Prices are very reasonable and portion sizes were as expected for the price. It did get quite loud inside but it was busy as I said. On top of that I was able to get a nice Blue Light card discount! It's definitely going to be a regular place to eat from now.

Came on 26.10.2021 had a carvery. Not busy at all. Help yourself to non-alcoholic drinks, free refills for 99p extra. Came on 29.12.2021 had breakfast £9.50 all you can eat. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Place was clean esp the drinks corner. Children's area is £3.50 per child, wasn't too busy or noisy. Not huge but it's enough to keep them busy during the meal. Would come back, free WiFi, free parking and is a good option for a rainy day. 25% off with Blue Light card. Free coke refills.

What an evening... To give some back story, I 'ate' at this establishment 3 years ago and promised myself I would never put my intestines through the hell of the Brewers Fayre again. However, here I was. Back again. Apparently I can't learn the first time round. My father, brother, sister, my 3 year old and I all sat at our booked table at precisely 6pm this evening. We ordered. We shouldn't have. 45 minutes after ordering a waitress came to the table to state the vegan chicken (brothers) was out of stock. He ordered the vegan burger and was told he could have any side as way of apology, he ordered mac and cheese. 1 hour later (1 hour 45 mins after ordering) we were all so starved at this point we could have tucked into a plant based horse. My 3 year old would have happily tucked into anything that clucked at this point. My father and brother were the first unfortunate souls to receive their 'dinner'. My dad's brocolli had not made it to his plate and so off the waitress went to retrieve it from the kitchen. Both pie and burger...cold. My sister and I then received our sweet potato curries! I had ordered a naan bread. The waitress told me upon giving me said curry that there was in fact no naan bread. I had 2 dry pieces of dry white bread as my naan substitute. Both my sister and I were a poppadom short and I think they used the rice pudding rice in the curry. My daughters child portion of chicken, mash and beans arrived. We ordered a mini corn on the cob as a side for her. However, what we received was 1.5 inches of diagonally cut end piece of a normal sized corn on the cob which I did not allow my daughter to eat as it actually looked like an environmental health hazard. My brothers side of mac and cheese never turned up. He asked about it and told them that he'd be happy with another Stella instead of waiting until midnight for the mac and cheese. He was told this was the easiest resolution they'd had all night. We didn't stay for pudding. We'd still be there. I give it 1 star as the entire night was just so incredibly funny. You know when something is so bad it's actually hilarious? Well that's Brewers Fayre for ya. It was almost money well spent just for the comedy element of it. Just waiting for the sister to send me any pics she took of tonight's delicacies. I'll add them to this post.
