Gina Howard3 StarOur room was lovely & clean. We had a wonderful evening on Friday, good food & excellent service from Sophia.
Sunday dinner was unfortunately dreadful with my pork arriving when the other four diners had almost finished. The manager didn’t charge for my dinner but to be honest I really struggled to pay for any of them & the apology was most certainly not heartfelt. The sad thing was it wasn’t just us the other diners having Sunday lunch also complained.
I will end on a high because this hotel most definitely has a star in Dawn who made our breakfasts every morning the highlight of our visit. Such a bright, polite, friendly & attentive waitress. I also have to add she single handed managed all the breakfasts, checkouts & room servicing!! That’s a grafter👍Monday 27th June 2022
richard nation5 StarMy wife and I had an absolutely fantastic time here. The food was perfectly cooked and served in a good time. The staff are friendly and looked after us to the highest standard.
We stayed the night too and the rooms were clean and well kept.

James Bonin5 StarVery pleasant stay at the Black Lion. Last minute booking and Jonathan was very professional and welcoming. It was a special occasion and they really made it special. Not the most sound proof rooms, but amazing architecture. Good choice for exploring North Norfolk coast.Saturday 5th February 2022
Nigel Blackley5 StarCosy hotel/pub but a must visit for foodies. Excellent evening meal followed by a full English breakfast up there with the best. My guess would be that a lot of the produce is local and has a low carbon footprint. Staff all friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A very good experience.Tuesday 14th December 2021
