The best driving instructor in Brighton! Whether you're a complete beginner or just need a few refresher lessons, look no further. Steve is highly experienced, incredibly patient and a constantly supportive instructor. Great with communication, always on time and reliable. It was clear from my first lesson with Steve that he is passionate about putting good and safe drivers out on the road and this shows in his thorough teaching style. He would ask me regularly if I had any questions or which areas I would like to work on, making sure that I was getting the most out of my lessons and constantly progressing. Being an anxious person and an anxious driver, Steve's calm and professional approach helped me stay relaxed and I always felt safe with Steve by my side. He helped me massively with my confidence on both the theory and practical side of driving and I am now a confident and competent driver that has just passed my test! As well as being a wonderful instructor, Steve is also an absolute pleasure to spend time with and so easy to talk to. I will miss our weekly lessons as it had become a part of my routine that I really looked forward to. I can't recommend Steve highly enough and I will be recommending him to everyone that wants to learn to be a great driver!

Thank you Steve for all your help with overcoming my fear of driving on motorways. I learned to drive 30 years ago but after a near miss on the motorway I stopped driving on motorways 17 years ago. I had developed a real phobia and I honestly thought I would never be able to drive on motorways again. Steve helped me. He made me feel safe and taught me new driving skills. With these skills, my confidence increased and my fear decreased. Steve also helped me face my fears and enabled me to plan for ‘What’s the worst that could happen?’ He showed me that by giving myself distance between me and the car in front, I would have precious time to react to any potential issue. This would make me and those around me safer. Steve has made me a better driver and given me a new confidence. Steve is one of the best teachers I have ever met. His words of wisdom and teachings will stay with me. Thank you Steve!

I can't recommend Steve enough as a driving instructor, I was so nervous at first and it took me a long time to gain confidence and Steve was very welcoming and took a kind approach to teaching. He's a good laugh and makes sure that you aren't just test ready, you are road ready. He will make sure that you are a safe driver and that you feel confident to drive anywhere in the world. I recently passed my test and was glad to have Steve on my journey of driving, it's amazing that I passed but also sad that lessons are over. If you wanna be a good driver, pick Steve as your instructor!

Best driving school in Brighton. Steve helped me to go from a nervous beginner to a calm and competent driver. He goes above and beyond in his teaching and is extremely calm, patient and generally a joy to be around in lesson time. I was so nervous, it took me a while to become confident enough to pass my test. Steve never gave up on me and he helped me get past the mental blocks that I had towards driving. He is an excellent instructor with a passion for teaching. It’s so important to have an instructor that wants to be in the car with you, not just someone clocking in and out. I am so pleased to have my license, it’s such a huge achievement for me. The only downside is that I will miss our weekly lessons. Thank you Black and White driving school.
