Station Garage Birchington Auto Repairs Ltd This garage is a massive joke. I booked my tiny little kia picanto with hardly anything under the bonnet in for an MOT, earliest they could do is friday or saturday next week. OK so I booked the car in for a Saturday 9.00am as I need the car to ferry the children to and from school in Broadstairs, I asked if they could replace the fan belt at the same time (Sure we can do that) I said can you please order the belt straight away just in case there's a problem, (Yes OK will do that too). So i drop the car off early saturday morning early about 8.15am he tells me it would be ready at 10.30. I walked down to the garage at 10.30 to pick up the car he tells me its still in the MOT Bay, OK so i walked up and down a bit outside the garage waiting and i saw a euro car parts delivery van delivering my fan belts yes belts he ordered three different sizes he said I have three belts power steering, Fan belt, and aircon belt, but i can't do it now there isn't enough time (Remember this 10.30am) even though i asked to change the fan belt only and too pre order it. He then said i can do it monday I have the belts here now, so I agreed and booked it in for Monday, I said i don't get back from the school run till about 9.10 or 9.15am usually he said thats fine, we will do it Monday. Well I have dropped of the car once more I thought I will ring them at 1.00 see how they are getting along because i have to leave at 2.20 to pick the kids up from school, WELL they haven't even touched the car' knowing I have to pick the children up form school, they just said you can pick the car up if you like, So of i go to walk down to pick up the car once again without any work been carried out it whatsoever. So angry with them, a complete waste of my time not even a sorry. Complete Bunch of Amateurs. I also Had a feeling they were keeping the the car for a while to charge me more hours.
