Fantastic local with the friendliest bar staff and dog friendly. We love this pub. Wonderful walks, followed by brilliant breakfast and lunch options. We ate in the lovely garden. So nice to be able to bring our dog. Service great. It’s an all round great pub!

Stayed here for a local wedding at Blacknest golf course. Being only 5 minutes drive away from the venue it was perfect! The owner showed us to our room on arrival and helped us arrange a taxi for later in the afternoon to get back to the venue for the reception. I MUST advise you that if you are wanting a taxi to and from a wedding venue from this hotel that you book in advance before you arrive (maybe a week before to be sure) as there aren't many taxis that cater for this area. It was £16 each way. Back to the hotel - the room was lovely and clean, freebies were great. The show was awesome and the best waa comfy. Breakfast- there is a menu for cooked breakfast but you can build your own and you can also get tea/coffee and juice. Would highly recommend this place to stay and eat :)

The room was very nice. But, as we didn't arrive until after 9 no food, as the restaurant closed at 8:30. A cooked breakfast was not an option as not served until 9 am. I did, though, get cereal, milk, fruit juice, and fruit delivered to the rooms. Would I stay again - no sorry.

A beautiful place in the country, we stopped on our way to Cornwall for one night. Rooms and breakfast perfect beautiful Atmosphere and Laurie was a perfect Host. We will Back.
