After purchasing and fitting over £5000 worth of oak engineered flooring, we have discovered that the flooring is not sealed to a usable level. We had a small drip from a cloakroom waste pipe and it’s totally damaged the floor. The water did not sit on the top of the oiled board as it supposedly should. We then noticed drip marks on the floor by the kitchen sink. I contacted Beswick and after serval emails, in which they basically implied that I’d removed the oil somehow, I called and spoke to the director John. After going round in circles for half an hour, I have been told that’s it my problem and that I need to seal the floor, which will cost me more money and time. I feel that beswick have taken my money and couldn’t care less about their product. Very poor customer support from the boss!!! Avoid!!!!!Wednesday 9th February 2022
Daisy B1 StarTravelled to the showroom from London, we were given no help or guidance at all. When we found tiles that we wanted and asked for availability, we were just met with ‘none in stock’. The staff didn’t seem to care or want to help us at all. I asked if I could get it delivered when it did come into stock and was just told ‘it’s not advisable to get it delivered’, so we’d have to drive all the way back to pick up any order. So I looked for another tile that was similar, again asked and was told there was none in stock, again nothing more offered, I am really disappointed as I had heard good things about this place.
