I'm presuming the duty manager by the way he was dressed, sadly didn't get his name, was very hospitable.
The place was clean and tidy. Toilets spotless.
We got a mega meal each to nurse a hangover, and we're surprised at how good the food actually was. Can't comment on the beer as stuck to soft drinks. Which were ice cold.
I got the mega hunters chicken and our kid has some offensively large hamburger. Neither of us could finish there was that much of it.
The Ritz it ain't... But that isn't necessarily a bad thing. Will definitely be back.Sunday 19th September 2021
D Baillie5 StarPortion sizes and quality of food was great. Mains 2 for 1 deal made it amazing value. We did indulge in puddings and these did not disappoint! We visited on a Friday evening and were surprised at how quiet it was which was a shame - people are missing out. Staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.Friday 1st July 2022

Made sure we had everything from drinks to clean cutlery, also made sure our food was 10/10! They didn’t step a toe out of unprofessional jam and the food was just to die for! Would 100000% recommend the steak!

Tambara Brereton5 StarStopped here in the pouring rain. It was a great stop. We were welcomed at the door by Paul who was extremely helpful and pleasant throughout.
The food was excellent. The pub is delightful. If I lived closer I would visit regularly. This really is a great place to eat and meet.Monday 1st November 2021
