Anything you pick will be absolutely gorgeous, we had the chocolate Swiss roll and it was so delicious. Must visit if you are in Uppingham!Tuesday 18th April 2023
Mark Evans5 StarBaines is an excellent family run bakery on the High Street of Uppingham. It’s always busy as the food is superb ! Once a week I will treat myself to a sausage & egg roll for breakfast.
They are delicious ! Their homemade soups are a must for winter lunchtimes, free of additives or preservatives, very tasty. Then there is the bread. Truly wonderful ! Baines loaves come in all types and sizes. Something for everyone.
Also treat yourself to a lovely piece of cake. My personal favourite is the lovely moist banana cake but if it has sold out, try the ginger cake instead. Amazing bakery, great staff.Monday 27th January 2020
