Strong joint female leadership combined with nurture and academic achievement are at the heart of Atlantic Academy Portland’s transformation into one of Dorset’s top schools. This all-through school has been on an incredible journey that reflects the hard work, passion and determination shown by Leaders to turn their school into a success. The efforts of the leadership team and those of all staff at the school were recognised when Ofsted praised the‘’remarkable turnaround’’ of the school and gave it a ‘Good’ rating in its first inspection since being taken over. The school, for pupils aged 4 to 16, was taken over by Aspirations Academies Trust and re- named Atlantic Academy Portland in 2017. The ‘Good’ rating applies to the whole school and in all areas from the quality of the education through to leadership and management and early years provision. Worst school ever. Teachers are very poor. Will promise you things and then not deliver them. Feel sorry for those who can't get out.
