I have owned dogs since 1979, all of my adult life. I was never allowed a dog as a child, and knew as soon as I was able to leave home that I would get my first dog I got into serious dog training in 1989. It all started with Agility and some competitive Obedience I soon found that Agility was my main love & the sport of Agility has since taken over my life I was Club Secretary for Nottingham Agility Training Club for several years and then I set up North Derbyshire Dog Agility Club in 1999 - this Club is now a Kennel Club Registered Club.
I have taught the Kennel Club Good Citizens Awards as well as judged it and I regularly judge at Kennel Club Shows I am an Official Kennel Club Dog Agility Measurer as well as a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer I am Chairperson at North Derbyshire Dog Agility club and also a trainer at the club too I am a home-checker for several rescues; Many Tears Rescue, Preloved Border Collies & Hope Rescue.

I have had dogs all my life. As i grew up we had border collies as well as crossbreeds. At first I left all the agility competing to Jackie, but soon realised that i could probably do just as well if not better, so i started to train & compete.
I set up with Jackie the North Derbyshire Dog Agility club and spent many years on the committee. I am a trainer at North Derbyshire Dog Agility Club.
Most of my current dogs have been rescued and have come with problems that i have successfully turned into happy, friendly, family dogs - see 'Our Dogs' for details on our dogs past & present
