We were on holiday camping, and typically our calor propane gas ran out. Rather than go into Basingstoke we thought we would give the local business a chance, big mistake. We wanted to change our 3.9 dumpy calor gas bottle for a refill, but they didn't have any, but did offer to exchange for a 6kg which we thought was very helpful. We should have walked away when they said the price was £39, every where else sales for £26 to £27, so it was a shock to be charged so much over the odds. Needless to say it put a big dent in our holiday budget and we cut the extra few days we were going to have camping. I always like to give the local business a chance and give them my custom, but on this occasion, I wish I'd gone to the big businesses out of the town. We feel like we've been ripped off and Calor has assured us that the price for a 6kg should be £26 - £27, not the price that Alresford Builders Merchants said it is, £39.
