AJF Site Services offer a site fitting service for your project, which means we can handle your project from beginning to completion so you don’t have to worry about anything other than seeing the end product.

Steel erecting is essentially putting up a steel structure. Here at AJF our steel erectors are experienced at drilling holes in steel and concrete, fixing steel parts together using different bolting methods and they are all able to cut steel should this ever be needed on site. We have a number of experienced welders who do on-site welding using ´Stick´.

Our erecting crews will have a minimum of 1 Crane Supervisor, unless the specific project does not require use of a crane. All of our erectors are competent in reading erecting plans; these are drawings which advise of what pieces go where. Our erectors are trained to erect scaffold towers (PASMA certified) and drive MEWPS (IPAF certified). There are qualifications for steel erecting, the best qualification though is experience and our erectors have decades of experience.

Our customers will usually request a full crew for their projects, with each erecting crew consisting of 3 men, all of whom can erect and 1 being a supervisor for that crew. We do have requests to hire out our erectors to work with the customers men, these requests can be for 1 man to 2 or 3 crews.
