Nice and straight forward. Hired a van for a day whilst I was moving house. Was quite surprised to get relatively new van (1 or 2 years old), which had a touchscreen system so was good for connecting my phone for music etc. Van was very clean, including the loading area in the back. Woman behind the counter was friendly, and there was no hiccups when sorting out paperwork and details. Once you have that sorted, a guy takes you to your van, and shows you around etc before handing the keys over. It was handy that they have an out-of-hours system where you can drop your keys off through a letter box at any time whilst they are closed. Just remember to double check the van is clear of all your personals before you do!

I live abroad and frequently use Afford when I return to the UK. I have been delighted with their pleasant and helpful customer services. The quality of cars available and have been delighted with the prices compared to other car hire companies in the area. The service I had from Afford, start to finish, was simply superb. Lee looked after me wonderfully well, making me feel like I was his most loyal customer. The car was immaculate. Full instructions were given (it's a long time since I drove a stick shift) and no-one laughed when I kangarood off the forecourt. Believe it please when I say they were 55% cheaper than the other company I had a quote from! If I could give 10 * I would. Thanks Afford.
