The 15-year-old played and captained the Cheltenham Town youth teams before joining Redditch United and winning several trophies. She now plays for Worcestershire County and This Girls Kicks at U18 level and has joined Worcester City Women to develop her game even further and experience senior women’s football when she turns 16. Lauren said on her move, ‘Worcester City Women has always been on my radar, I have known Jodie (Williams) since I was 11 and when I joined the Worcestershire FA Youth Council Jodie asked if I would like to be a part of WCWFC and I jumped at the chance. The coaching is excellent and I love the facilities.’ ‘The atmosphere at the club is exceptional. I am the baby of the group but everyone takes care of me and respects and takes on board my opinions. As I've said, the coaching staff are outstanding and the players are so supportive, it feels like one big family!’ ‘This season is a big step up for me and I personally can’t wait.
