Acorns Day Nursery offers a happy, nurturing, safe and stimulating place for your child. Whether you’re looking for a full-time childcare place, or part-time childcare, Acorns Day Nursery, can provide year-round nursery support for your family.The nursery is open Monday to Friday and closes bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year. The quality of our nursery school provision is achieved through the commitment of our team of qualified nursery officers – each one holds, or is studying for, a qualification specialising in childcare and paediatric first aid involving at least two years of nursery-based theory and practice.We are very proud to be rated 'Good' by Ofsted for the quality and standards of the early years provision our lovely nursery provides. We care for babies aged from 3 months all the way to pre school children aged up to 5 years, with each age group having their own dedicated room. Each room has been thoughtfully designed and furnished to provide stimulation with learning and playing equipment to suit their stage of development. At Acorns we have a dedicated, qualified team of practitioners, carefully selected for their love of childcare. All staff members hold a full Paediatric First Aid qualification and have access to additional training. Some of our team hold, or are studying for, BA (Hons) degrees in Early Years Studies. Our nursery and pre school is situated in the grounds of Sevenoaks Primary School and we are fortunate to have a lovely large, enclosed garden. The children are able to enjoy the freedom to run, slide and climb on the range of equipment, with a canopy of mature trees giving shade in the summer and fun with leaves in the autumn. You can tell a happy nursery from one that isn’t and Acorns has always had a calm, happy and inspiring vibe. The children that I have seen, that have come through Acorns, are so well rounded and are confident, happy children. I believe that is down to an Acorns input.

What a fabulous nursery! Such experienced dedicated staff which gives the reassurance all parents need that their child is being looked after beautifully. Our little boy gets so excited when he knows it’s an Acorns day!
