Been taking my phones to be repaired here for years! Excellent service, Sarah & Will are so helpful and explain everything clearly. Very knowledgable in their field and trust them 100%. Wouldn’t go elsewhere for anything phone related. Cannot recommend enough!

INCOMPETENT, UNTRUSTWORTHY AND DISRESPECTFUL ACG has proven to be incredibly unreliable and untrustworthy. They’ve lied or failed in every single interaction I’ve had with with them. I recommend to all customers to avoid this place; there are plenty other electronics shops in Cambridge with more honest repairmen. If you must come here, be sure to back up your data and don’t give any electronics that you urgently need because there’s no guarantee if or when you’ll get them back. I came into the shop for a simple laptop screen repair. The repairman Will ended up damaging the laptop entirely so it no longer turns on. It’s been over two months now and they still haven’t compensated for any damages, like they promised they would. It was an expensive laptop worth well over £1k. To recap the full story: I came in on a Thursday and originally, they said the screen repair would be done by the weekend. Come Saturday, they call to say they’ve ordered the wrong part so it will take more time. One week later, they say it’s ready. When I come to collect, I find the laptop doesn’t turn on! Apparently, they never had a laptop charger to test it with so they said to give a few more days. As a university student with all my work on that laptop and needing it for my masters project, I was incredibly worried. When I call them up a couple days later to check the status on my laptop, imagine my shock when Will refuses to give any more details about the situation, hangs up on me mid-conversation and evades my calls for the rest of the week. Eventually, he texts to say that they think the fuse was blown and he’s taken it to a London repair shop. He promises to have it ready the next day. What does he say the next day? Oh, they need more time because now they think it’s a graphic card issue. Eventually, he admits that they’ve completely broken it and promises to find a replacement laptop. A week later with no info, I message to ask what’s happening, he says they’re still looking. Then, he claims to have found a laptop somewhere of the same model but when I ask for ANY details whatsoever (documentation, warranty etc), he claims “There is no more I can say/discuss with you. I've done every thing possible to resolve this. The workshop reopens on Weds. They'll sort it and contact you by Friday. Your info will be on the new laptop. There is no more I can do or say to you.” Even by this point, he refuses to speak to me on the phone. Unwilling to accept any old random machine they gave me without evidence of its condition, I demanded financial compensation for the price of the laptop that they damaged. Despite agreeing, it’s been over a week and he’s not sent me the funds as planned. Now once again, he’s resorted to ignoring my calls and messages.

I have used ACG many times for both repairs and accessories, each time I have been very happy with the service. They’re both extremely helpful and knowledgeable and their prices are always reasonable. Highly recommended!

The super friendly staff were great in helping me find what I needed. They carefully unpackaged the items that interested me to show me each of the products so I could try them before committing. There was no hard sell at any stage and the whole thing was very genuine. Fitting was free and done quickly, professionally and to the best standard I've seen. I whole-heartedly recommend this business! A big thank you to all the staff! :)
