This was the first time we have used a removal company so I don't have a frame of reference but the service I received was exactly what I was hoping for. Abbeywood had the most competitive quote and they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish - punctual, careful, quick, clean. Nothing got broken, nothing got dirty, we were unpacked in our new house by 4 pm. Absolutely amazing!!! Thank you so much Paula and the boys!!

The Abbey wood team were fantastic from the quotation up until removal day. Paula was great at keeping us informed of potential moving dates getting busy which helped us with setting a date. The guys who came and packed for us did a fantastic job and were very quick. On the day, the guys were very patient when it turned into a longer day than expected and were really quick at unloading but also took their time to make sure things were moved into the new house safely. My husband and I cannot recommend them enough!

Everyone at Abbeywood removals from start to finish was professional & did exactly what was asked of them. The two man removal team were efficient, careful, knowledgeable & helpful. They had to dismantle & rebuild our furniture, all done expertly & no damage. Would highly recommend this company!

Excellent job from quotation to box collecting! Abbeywood were so easy to get hold of and quoted fantastically. We felt they were an independent family run business and they genuinely cared about us and our g Home! After have a few weeks of going back and forth with move dates Abbeywood were very accommodating and when it came to move day the boys can in on time, packed everything so well we didn’t have one chip, dent or break! They were polite and friendly which made us feel like our goods were in safe hands. Everything got dismantled and put back together in the correct way and placed in the house as per our request. We had 75 boxes left with us and as much time as we needed to unpack them. We finally finished a few weeks later and they collected all the boxes off us to reuse which is a great part of the service also. So happy with everything about this company- will recommend to friends and family for sure!!

We chose Abbeywood because they had fair prices and liked using a local family run company. Although efficient I found them rather cold to deal with, with no sympathy for the stressful time we like so many other buyers were going through especially with a deadline of the stamp duty holiday looming. I'd kept in touch with Abbeywood throughout, even paying £100 deposit for some packaging. Expected exchange dates came and went as they do but finally we were ready and Abbeywood confirmed the dates were still available so exchange started. After only an hour I received a phone call from them to say the dates we had agreed with our solicitor were no longer free. I was distraught and pictured ourselves having a two day move to Devon with no removals. Luckily ABC from Wycombe whom we had also had a quote from stepped in and said not only were the dates available but they would hang on to them for us while exchange took place. So relieved and grateful to them! In short we were appalled with the way Abbeywood treated us, if may be their policy to not book dates till you've actually exchanged but we want to warn people to avoid companies that do this so you don't get caught out like we did. Obviously they wouldn't refund the deposit so we lost out on that too at an already expensive and extremely stressful time. Strongly recommend you avoid Abbeywood.
