I would highly recommend 2MD, they moved us from our flat to our new house. The staff were friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. Malcolm and his team are extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you once again for the 5 star service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

In reply to Jackie H ‘s damning review, I would like to now explain her false review. She states: We didn't provide a large enough vehicle, = This is because when she was quoted she stated that alot of the furniture would not be going. On the day of the move she hadn' t got rid of any of the items, thus it not fitting in one load. To say we left her belongings out in the rain: These items were garden pots, and garden furniture!!!! When she was told she would have to pay extra for the extra trip she became very unreasonable. To stop the unreasonable calls etc ,we agreed to take the rest of her belongings up to Cobham at a reduced rate. On arrival with the rest of her belongings we received a hostile reception, and was told to put all the items out in "THE GARDEN" and it was raining and with not so much as a THANK YOU..

If I could I would give them 0 stars. Moving house became even more stressful using this company. They miscalculated the size of truck they would need to transport my household goods. Some of it was left out in the rain for 9 hours. After delivering to my storage 150 miles away I received a text charging me double the original quote because of their mistake. When I questioned this the owner became aggressive and threatening, withholding my goods and demanding payment then and there. Eventually the wife of the owner apologised and returned the remainder of my things (albeit with an additional transport charge!). All quite unbelievable and disgraceful. The owner never himself apologised. Edit : after 5 months I’ve just had my goods collected from the storage (by a professional removal Co.). They were shocked at how my items had been stored in the unit. The mattresses are now marked, an expensive velvet chair scratched and a leg broken off a table. I’ve yet to open the boxes, which were piled on top of each other with no thought to weight etc. In addition they used a van half the size of 2MD with no problems, I guess professionals know how to pack. It’s strange how the owner didn’t mention he’d hurt his knee so had to employ an extra person on the day - do you think that had anything to do with doubling the ‘agreed quote’? Also not mentioned were the threatening texts, I have kept a copy of these and would happily publish if need be. I had to pay extra to have my ‘outside goods’ delivered which he was withholding illegally. Shocking and worrying experience, I hope no one else has to go through that.
